The first copied model is the PLT M-75 that has been copied in Faroe Island as L-75. It is a look-a-like design with unknown features. The other one is the PLT Rescue 230 that has been copied in China.

As part of our efforts, and as part of our Quality Assurance System, we have set up a questionnaire to further improve our products and services. If there is important information from us to you as a distributor, we have to be able to trace the equipment and get in contact with you.

This questionnaire is ment for those who buy a PLT (Rescue 230, Rescue 125, Mooring 150, Mooring 75 and PLT Mini) and/or an air cylinder.

Development of new tagging techniques was commenced in response to a recommendation to the Government of Norway from the IWC Scientific Committee that more information on the surfacing rates of minke whales (using techniques such as telemetry) was desirable for input into population assessment models for this species in the north-east Atlantic (IWC).
